Applications are invited to fill up two vacancies of member of Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, known as the “District Forum” (One shall be a woman) Dadra and Nagar Haveli on part time basis, having qualifications as mentioned in Section 10 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. The candidate having following qualifications may apply to the undersigned.

As per provisions of Rule 3 of Dadra and Nagar Haveli Consumer Protection Rules, 1987 as amended up to date, the members appointed on part time basis shall be paid a consolidated honorarium of Rs. 600/- and Conveyance Allowance of Rs. 150/- per day per sitting. The Member of the District Forum shall also be entitled for such travelling allowances and Daily allowances on official tours as are admissible to Grade-I Officers of the Central Government. The appointment of member will be as per provisions of Consumer Protection Act and Rules amended from time to time by the Competent Authority.

Candidates having the required qualifications may submit the application alongwith the attested copies of required documents so as to reach the same to the undersigned on or before 02.06.2015.
