Applications are invited from male/female lndian citizens for appointment on combatised posts of Assistant Sub lnspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial) in Border Security Force, Ministry of Home Affairs,Government of India in the Pay scale as.mentioned against each post plus DA and other allowances as admissible to the medical of the Force from time to time as well as accommodation, uniform, LTC and medical facilities etc. The posts are temporary Uut tit<etylo ecorelJrmrnent.
ASI (Steno) : (Posts 25)
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 GP Rs.2800/-
Qualification : Intermediate or Senior
Secondary School Certificate (10+2)
from a recognized Board
or equivalent.
Shorthand Speed : Shorthand @ 80 words per minute in
English OR in Hindi for 10 minutes.
Transcription of dictation in English in 50 minutes on computer OR transcription of
dictation in Hindi in 65 minutes on Computer
HC(MIN) : (Posts 111)
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 GP Rs.2400/-
Qualification : intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) from a recognized Board or equivalent.
Typing Speed : Typing speed 35 words per minute in English
OR @ 30 words per minute in Hindi
corresponding to 10500 KDPH in
English/9000 KDPH in Hindi with average
of 5 key depressions for each word on
computer. Time-10 minutes.
AGE LIMIT FOR ASI(STENO) & HC(MIN)
Between 18 to 25 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Sihedul; Tribes and five years for Govt Servants. Also relaxable for gx-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders iiiuej Oy tne Central Government from time to time.

send the application so as to reach at the above mentioned centers on or before 03rd August 2015. Last date for receipt of applications in respect of candidates belonging to far flung
areas of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern State is 17th ,August 2015. The applications should be accompanied with self attested copies of certificates of proof of age' education qualification, caste, tribe/ hill areas(domicile), wherever applicable.
