It has been decided to form a panel for recruitment in the following discipline exclusively for Male/Female candidates, on Headquarter Division, Northern Railway, Baroda House, New Delhi.
Cricket (Men) Batsmen : (Posts 03).
Weight Lifting One-69 Kgs & One-77 Kgs. : (Posts 02).
Volley Ball One Centre Blocker & One Counter Attacker. : (Posts 02).
Athletic (Men) One Discuss Throw and One Javelin Throw. : (Posts 02).
Athletic (Woman) One 1500 Mtrs Race : (Posts 01).
SELECTION PROCEDURE :
The selection procedure for short listed eligible candidates would involve:
(1) Trials of sports performance.
(2) Interview-assessment of sports achievements, educational qualifications and other criteria for selection.
(3) Original certificates of date of birth, educational qualification, sports achievements may be shown at the time of trial and interview otherwise the candidate will not be allowed to attend the trial procedure.
Fee : Each application should be submitted alongwith the application fee of Rs. 40/- (Rs. Forty only) non refundable including postal charges through crossed postal order/demand draft paid at New Delhi in the name of Sports Officer/HQ, Head Quarter Sports Association, N. Rly, New Delhi through postal Dak only. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted from application fee.
HOW TO APPLY : The candidates fulfilling the conditions regarding eligibility of age, educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria should apply for the post notified as per application formats given at Annexure-A (attached herewith) on a good quality plain paper of A-4 size alongwith two latest passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. The application should be filled in by the candidate in their own hand writing and sent through Postal Dak only on the following address : "SPORTS OFFICER/HEADQUARTER SPORTS ASSOCIATION, NORTHERN RAILWAY BARODA HOUSE, NEW DELHI, ROOM NO. 7-G ANNEXE-II BUILDING, BARODAHOUSE, NEW DELHI -110001"
Last date for receipt of application is 28.07.2014 and no application will be entertained after the last date.
