Applications in the prescribed form are invited from Indian Nationals for the selection of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act,1961, for the following trades :
Group "A"(10th Class Passed)
Draughtsman : (Posts 20).
Electrician : (Posts 21).
Fitter : (Posts 43).
Pipe Fitter : (Posts 28).
Structural Fitter : (Posts 23).
Stipend to be paid : 1"year Rs.2100/-, 2"d year Rs.2400/- ,3 year Rs.2800/-
Age Limit : 15 to 19 years as on 01.10.2014.
Group "B"(I.T.I Passed)
Painter(General) : (Posts 15).
Electronic Mechanic : (Posts 15).
Carpenter : (Posts 15).
Fitter-Structural : (Posts 30).
Age Limit : 16to21 yearsas on 01.10.2014
Group "C"(8th Class Passed )
Rigger : (Posts 43).
Welder (G & E) : (Posts 42).
Age Limit : 14 to 18 years as on 01.10.2014
Application Form : It will be available with Rules & Regulations (for strict compliance) at GATE NO.9, ALCOCK YARD of the Company against the payment of registration fee of Rs.50/-, in cash, from 19/06/2014 to 30/06/2014 between 09:00hrs and 13:00hrs from Monday to Friday and from 09:00 hrs. to 16:00 hrs. on Saturdays for General, OBC,AFC & PH Candidates.
For SC/ST Candidates it will be available Free of Cost subject to submission of self attested photo copy of CasteCertificate issued by competent authority in the name of candidate only. The outstation candidates including SC/ST, can obtain the Application Form on request to Dy. General Manager(ATS) by sending a self addressed envelope duly affixed with Rs.6/- postage stamp and for this purpose General, OBC,AFC & PH Candidates need to send Rs.50/- Demand Draft drawn in favor of MAZAGON DOCK LIMITED, payable at MUMBAI. Whereas SC/ST Candidates need to send self attested photo copy of the Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in his/her name only. Otherwise application form will not be
dispatched.
The duly filled Application Form along with self attested photo copies of required certificates should reach on or Before 11/07/2014 to the following address. Dy. General Manager, Apprentice Training School, Gate No.9,AlcockYard, Mazagon Dock Limited,Dockyard Road, Mumbai -400 010.
